This is quite difficult to do and will require practice. This will direct you and get you back on the road, after skipping a chunk of the level. Go forward through the air and try to land on a red balloon. At the bottom of the hill you can jump off to the left. When going down, use the spindash to gain speed. Pass under it and there is a downward hill you have to traverse. You land on a road with one of those rotating pillars you have to somersault underneath. This shortcut comes after the first rocket. But like I said, kids and retro gamers will love this.There are 2 rockets (the small silver ones you hold onto) in this level. It's not that its a bad game, but people used to 2008's quality of video games might not be as pleased with this game. If you're buying this for your kids or you are a Sonic or retro video game fan, I'd recommend this. Personally, I love the tracks, but of course this depends on the person. The games soundtrack is filled with rock tunes performed by the band Crush 40, who also wrote nearly all the music for the first Sonic Adventure. The multiplayer mode can be really entertaining if you find someone to play with (the railing mode is the most entertaining). But if you can overlook the few things that drags this game down, you'll be left with a pretty good game. Some of the stages are simply boring and the gameplay will quickly feel repeating.
Unfortunately, I don't think this game will be as appealing in 2008. Being 11 years and bringing home the brand new Gamecube, plugging it in and seeing the first cut-scene from this game with Sonic in all his colorful majesty on your screen was simply amazing. Seeing at h ow inexpensive the game is to purchase nowadays, it's worth the $5-$10 to purchase the game, and if for nothing else, enjoy how advanced gaming has become, and how much it's progressed since SA2.
Trust me, once you've played, you'll see what I mean. This game took me so long to complete because I couldn't play more than one or two episodes at a time without getting nauseous and light-headed due to how awful the angles are. The only other con this game has is the camera angles.

I remember how amazing the graphics seemed back when the game first came out, but when you're used to the Wii and PS3 graphics.Well, it can seem a little disappointing. The episodes (especially Rouge/Knuckles) are challenging as well, and provide you with a sense of accomplishment once you've succeeded. Despite the remarkably cheesy lines and name-calling, it was rather humorous at times, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing the game. SA2 has a really great story line, and doesn't disappoint. As one of the first releases to support interconnectivity between the Cube and the Game Boy Advance, the game also brings VMU-style Chao-raising to Nintendo handheld gamers. In addition to the branching story of the adventure mode two players can also compete in the game's battle mode, which features a variety of racing and treasure-hunting challenges. The GameCube's Sonic Adventure 2 Battle features 12 playable characters in all, including Amy Rose, Metal Sonic, and Chaos Zero. Robotnik makes an appearance too, but the real villain in this adventure may be its newest character, Shadow, a dark, mysterious hedgehog whose speed and abilities might even rival those of Sonic himself. Knuckles shows up to offer his spunky brand of action and attitude. The hurried hedgehog is joined by some of his old friends in this release. In addition to the open-ended 3D platforming and high-speed adventure offered the original Dreamcast release, the GameCube's Sonic Adventure 2 Battle offers additional features, refined presentation, and an entirely new mode of two-person play.
